Blogging has been a little difficult lately. Not because I can’t think of anything to write, but because Sutton has decided that naps and not being held are not her thing at the moment. So hopefully I can take this rare chance of her napping and get caught up! Whoever said being a work from home mom was easy, was obviously not a work from home mom! But I still love it.
I am so happy I finally have the chance to write this blog though. It has been a great season of catching up with so many people! Hannah and I went to school together from kindergarten, all the way to our senior year. And actually went to the same colleges too. Her little sister Monica is finishing up at ISU right now as well (Go Redbirds!). And their mom is the sweetest! I used to work with her at the local grocery store while I was going to IVCC, so I was very excited when she emailed me about doing photos.
The Monroe’s session really shows what our little community is about. They all had to wear plaid to match Jon, because they said he wouldn’t wear anything else! He was so worried about the “junk” lying around in the pictures, he must have thought I was crazy because I loved it! Men see junk, I see rustic and beautiful. If you can’t tell, they are definitely a farm family. Hannah and Monica both went to school for Ag Business and Jon raises cattle. But that’s what our little county is all about!
