After I did my brother’s family’s photos, I still wasn’t feeling completely in touch with my inner-photographer. So, I called up my sister-in-law, and asked if I could do their family photos too. My step-brother wasn’t too pumped about it, but he was a trooper, and I don’t think he hated it too much.
I don’t know if I have ever shot a session on a night that was as humid and hot as this one. We were all sweating, but you can’t even tell because they look amazing! I mean, come on, those outfits are adorable. Jodi always has the girls dressed perfectly, I love it! They’re a photographer’s dream come true.
I also have Rylee and Katelyn to thank for my being a photographer. When they were little, I had a point and shoot camera. I was outside playing with them and taking photos. I realized I loved it! They were outside playing and it was just a day that would pass by and fade into our memories, but I had captured it. And I had completely forgotten about that until last week when I was cleaning out a jewelry box and found those photos.
It may have been hot and humid with no breeze to help, but this session turned out perfect!
