One of my favorite parts about being a photographer is being able to capture families growing, people changing, and making it so they can remember an important time in their life. I have known Connor his entire life, and it was awesome to be able to do his senior photos!
Connor’s mom happens to be one of my mom’s best friends and she was like another mom to me growing up. I’m sure my mom will be eternally grateful for when she convinced me to throw away my favorite sandals that were falling apart and get a pair to match her daughter Ashley’s, and looking back I’m eternally grateful too! But I was always at their house, and I still remember holding Connor when he was just a baby. And now look at him! He’s a young man with better hair than me! He’s also one of the nicest and most respectful young men I have ever met, which goes to show how awesome his parents are.
We were supposed to do his senior photos last week, but of course it was crazy hot that day and then rain came out of nowhere. Thank you Midwest weather! But it worked out for the best, because last night was GORGEOUS! It was the perfect temperature, not windy, and the light was to die for! Thankfully Connor knows the golf course and brought us to all the good spots for photos. Crazy that I’ve lived here my whole life and have never been out there. It was perfect!
